Neil Chin is an Analyst at CPI, based in San Francisco. His main focus is the development of innovative policy programs and financing solutions that accelerate global climate investment. He leads performance analytics for the monitoring and evaluating of the UK Climate Public Private Partnership (CP3) programme, a market mechanism leveraging private equity investment to finance low-carbon climate-resilient enterprises in emerging markets. In addition, Neil Chin supports the Framework for Sustainable Finance Integrity, utilizing data science methods to track, classify, and analyze climate commitments made by private and public financial institutions.

Before joining CPI, Neil Chin interned with the World Resources Institute (WRI), researching national and sub-national pathways to reaching net-zero targets. He is also a former research assistant to the Northwestern Workforce Science Project, where he used machine learning and Big Data to link higher education decisions to job market opportunities.

Neil is a graduate of the Master of International Affairs program at the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). He completed his undergraduate studies at Northwestern University and the London School of Economics (LSE).
