Rosaly Byrd is Senior Program Associate for the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance (the Lab), based in Rio de Janeiro. In this role, Rosaly coordinates the Lab’s global processes while also supporting analytical work on land use and sustainable agriculture financial instruments, both in Brazil and globally.

Prior to CPI, Rosaly worked for the UNDP World Centre for Sustainable Development (RIO+ Centre) where she worked on channeling climate finance into adaptive social protection programs; sustainable urbanization; and gender equity in climate-smart agriculture policies. Before this, she worked for the Inter-American Development Bank in Haiti, working on rural development projects related to sustainable land use and agroforestry in the country. Rosaly is the co-author of the book Sustainability Made Simple: Small Changes for Big Impact. She holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs with a focus on international environmental policy from the University of California, San Diego.
