Dipimpin oleh Juliano J. Assunção, profesor di Departemen Ekonomi di PUC-Rio, kantor CPI di Brazil mendukung para pembuat kebijakan dan pembuat keputusan penting, seperti Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup Brasil dan Bank Pembangunan Nasional Brasil.

Penelitian kami berfokus pada pendekatan Produksi dan Perlindungan untuk penggunaan lahan, khususnya kehutanan dan pertanian, energi, dan pembiayaan. Kami juga memimpin kolaborasi yang disebut INPUT (Inisiatif Penggunaan Lahan – Iniciativa Para o Uso da Terra), yang menyatukan tim spesialis di garda depan tentang cara meningkatkan perlindungan lingkungan dan produksi pangan.
