Benjamin Thomas is an Analyst at CPI’s San Francisco office, where he works to support increased private investment in low carbon, climate-resilient growth. His current focuses include an ongoing evaluation of the Climate Public Private Partnership (CP3) and providing analytical support for new financial instruments as part of the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance. He also contributed to the Global Landscape of Climate Finance report with additional research support.

Prior to CPI, Benjamin worked as an analyst on the capital markets and treasury teams at Solar Mosaic, a residential solar financing company based in the Bay Area. He also worked in rural development in East Africa as well as in peatland conservation in Indonesian Borneo.

He holds a Master’s degree in Climate Change, Management, and Finance from Imperial College London and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from New York University.
