João Mourão is an Analyst at the CPI Brazil office, with a focus on Conservation. He uses econometric techniques, georeferenced information, and administrative data to study policies aimed at preserving the environment and protecting the Amazon Forest. Before joining the CPI, he worked at a consulting firm specialized in public infrastructure policies. João holds a bachelor and a masters degree in economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), where he also obtained a minor in policy management and evaluation.
