Gabriel Cozendey Pereira Silva serves as Legal Analyst, with focus on Climate Law and Governance, at CPI Brazil. He conducts research on the relationship between institutional contexts and sustainability, with reference to mining and transportation, and energy infrastructures. Gabriel worked as a lawyer for over seven years in cases of national repercussion related to infrastructure and food production issues. He was also a research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law (Heidelberg, Germany), and lecturer at the Brazilian Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels Institute. Gabriel holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) and an academic master’s degree in Regulation Law from the Rio de Janeiro Law School of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV), where he also completed an extension course about Environmental Regulation of Energy, Mining and Infrastructure.
