Priscila Souza serves as Head of Policy Evaluation, focusing on Financial Instruments at CPI Brazil, and as Adjunct Professor at Columbia University’s Global Center. At CPI, her main research areas are: local impacts of large investments and rural credit in Brazil. Previously, she was an Assistant Professor at Toulouse School of Economics, deputy-director at Advanced Research in Quantitative Applied Development Economics (Arqade), a member of the Institute for Advanced Study in Toulouse (IAST) and an economist of the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES). Priscila Souza holds a Ph.D., an M.Phil. and an M.A. in Economics from Yale University, an M.A. in Economics from Getúlio Vargas Foundation (EPGE/FGV-RJ) and a B.A. Magna Cum Laude in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
