CPI is recruiting for a Senior Analyst position offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to CPI’s work in climate finance for agrifood systems, specifically by conducting research and analytical work related to the ClimateShot Investor Coalition (CLIC)’s knowledge products.

Reporting to the CLIC Manager, the CLIC Senior Analyst will undertake robust analysis and research relating to two of the main components of CLIC:

1. Knowledge products which provide evidence and thought leadership on climate finance for agrifood systems aiming to better-inform decision makers and promote greater consensus on priorities for the sector (70%).
2. Action group agendas and strategic plans which aim to expose members to innovative climate and nature-positive finance vehicles, as well as tools and approaches for evidence-based risk assessment and impact measurement for agrifood system investment (30%).

You will provide support to the CLIC Manager to set and progress the CLIC knowledge products strategy, agenda and delivery, while contributing to the action groups workplan, members’, friends’ and other general stakeholders’ engagement. 

You will need to quickly develop a solid understanding of the CPI and CLIC mission in the climate finance for agrifood systems space as well as the CPI/CLIC stakeholders and partners that drive it. You will also be asked to forge partnerships with relevant organisations including government officials, investors, funders, agribusiness accelerators, deal rooms and relevant technical assistance (TA) programs in emerging and developing economies.
