William Wallock is a Junior Analyst at CPI, based in Washington, D.C. William works on Adaptation & Resilience finance under The Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance. His work focuses on the development of innovative finance instruments that aim to accelerate climate mitigation and adaptation efforts. He also supports CPI in its work with the Catalytic Climate Finance Facility and USAID’s Climate Finance Development Accelerator.

William currently serves as a Steering Committee member of UNESCO’s Ground Water Youth Network (GWYN). Before joining CPI, William worked with the World Resources Institute (WRI) and the Center for Water Security and Cooperation (CWSC) on issues related to climate adaptation and water affordability in LMICs. He also supported Oxford Net Zero and the UK BMW Group in their corporate decarbonization efforts and has extensive field experience in India and Palestine.

William holds an MSc in Water Science, Policy, and Management from the University of Oxford, a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas, and a BA in Plan II Honors from the University of Texas.
