Wagner Oliveira serves as Senior Analyst focusing on Financial Instruments at CPI Brazil, where he investigates the impact of rural credit and insurance policies and how to improve their design to incorporate sustainability criteria. Previously, he worked as a researcher at Fundação Getulio Vargas – at the Center for Empirical Studies in Economics (FGV CEEE) and the Department of Public Policy Analysis (FGV DAPP). He also worked at the International Migration Observatory at the University of Brasília (OBMigra/UnB). Wagner holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV EPGE), a master’s degree in Economics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU).
