Sam Goodman is a Communications Associate for the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance. His responsibilities include writing and editing content and managing its social media accounts and website.

Prior to CPI, Sam worked at La Ruta del Clima for six years, where he followed the international climate negotiations, wrote climate policy briefs, and helped lead their communications strategy. He has worked with numerous U.S. federal agencies, such as the National Science Foundation, Bureau of Land Management, and Department of Education.

He holds a master’s in Natural Resources and Sustainable Development from the University for Peace in Costa Rica, a master’s in International Affairs from American University, and a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Politics from Oberlin College

Sam works remotely from Heredia, Costa Rica.
