Luiza Antonaccio serves as a Senior Legal Analyst, focusing on Climate Law and Governance at CPI Brazil. She is currently developing legal and regulatory analysis on infrastructure projects in the Amazon, and also is researching about legal deforestation monitoring. Previously, she worked as an environmental lawyer at Siqueira Castro Advogados, and Baggio e Costa Filho, dealing mostly with the energy sector, and as a legal advisor to the attorney’s office at the Environmental Institute of Rio de Janeiro (Inea). Luiza holds a master degree in Energy Planning at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (COPPE/UFRJ), a postgraduate degree in Brazilian Environmental Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) and a LLB from Fundação Getúlio Vargas Direito Rio de Janeiro (FGV).
