Liam Maguire is a Senior Analyst at CPI based in Washington, D.C. He supports financial vehicle development through the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance, the Catalytic Climate Finance Facility, and the FiCS Innovation Lab, as well as engagements with the Green Guarantee Group. 

Prior to CPI, Liam worked at the USAID Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance, supporting programming and strategy in crisis contexts increasingly shaped by climate risk. He also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Namibia, working on youth development, education, and water infrastructure projects, and has contributed to policy work on Puerto Rican renewable energy finance with the U.S. Department of Energy and implemented emergency drought response programs in the Horn of Africa with the International Organization for Migration.

Liam holds a Master’s degree in Public Affairs from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA) and a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Boston College.
