Frederick Fabian is a Manager in CPI’s London office, where he leads the development and delivery of the Net Zero Finance Tracker (NZFT), an open-data platform that monitors the financial sector’s transition from net-zero commitments to tangible actions and real-world impacts. Frederick also supports with fundraising, outreach, and broader stakeholder engagement.

Before joining CPI, Frederick co-founded Root Intelligence, a technology company providing proxy advice and stewardship insights to financial institutions, where he served as Director and led software development, product strategy, fundraising, and project delivery. His previous experience includes conducting climate finance research at the Centre for Climate Finance & Investment and working as a data scientist at the 2° Investing Initiative (now the Sustainable Finance Observatory), contributing to projects such as PACTA and MyFairMoney.

Frederick holds an MSc in Climate Change, Management & Finance from Imperial College London and a BA in Economics & Politics from Zeppelin University, Germany.
