O desenvolvimento financeiro desempenha um papel significativo no financiamento do crescimento econômico verde. O CPI trabalha com instituições financeiras de desenvolvimento para avaliar a eficácia de suas políticas, instrumentos, investimentos e portfólios, identificando riscos e oportunidades. Isso inclui o trabalho com o International Development Finance Club (IDFC), um grupo de 26 bancos de desenvolvimento nacionais e regionais de todo o mundo, para mapear seus compromissos financeiros verdes e fornecer recomendações sobre como eles podem alinhar suas operações e estratégias com o Acordo de Paris. .
