Os ecossistemas são um elemento-chave para a mitigação das mudanças climáticas e valem trilhões nos serviços que prestam. No entanto, independentemente de sua importância, sua conservação e restauração foram financiadas quase exclusivamente por fundos públicos ou filantrópicos limitados.
A pesquisa do CPI avalia o impacto da conservação das políticas públicas globalmente. Também trabalhamos com parceiros públicos e privados para testar e projetar modelos de conservação capazes de atender às necessidades socioeconômicas, protegendo e restaurando ecossistemas naturais ou modificados.
