Vaidehi Singhania is a junior analyst at CPI, based in New Delhi. She is a part of the Centre for Sustainable Finance program on the Green and Sustainable Finance team.
She brings experience at the intersection of finance, policy research, and climate-focused investing, with prior roles at Invest India, the Ministry of Commerce, and, most recently, as an Investment Analyst at a climate-tech venture capital fund.
As a VC analyst , Vaidehi worked closely on end-to- end investment processes and portfolio monitoring. She has conducted in-depth sectoral research across emerging climate technologies- carbon sequestration, air pollution management technology and circularity being some of them, assessed business models for scalability and impact, and supported investment decisions through financial and market analysis. Her experience also involves evaluating policy and regulatory landscapes, and tracking portfolio performance against both financial and impact metrics.
Earlier, at Invest India, she contributed to research and advisory initiatives, gaining exposure to public policy, stakeholder engagement, and sectoral insights across key industries. Across her roles, she has developed a strong interest in how capital can be strategically deployed to address climate challenges while generating sustainable returns.
Vaidehi is a CFA Charterholder and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the University of Delhi.
