Karla Nunez-Mendez is an accounting professional on the Finance and Accounting team at CPI, where she manages the accounts payable cycle and supports financial reporting and A/P-related reconciliations. She brings expertise in audit, nonprofit finance, and internal controls.
Prior to CPI, Karla worked at Deloitte & Touche LLP and Centro Legal de la Raza, supporting audit work and accounts receivable processes. She is particularly passionate about contributing to mission-driven organizations that promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and global impact, and continues to expand her accounting expertise while seeking opportunities to make a meaningful difference through her work.
Karla holds a degree in Accounting from California State University, East Bay, is actively working toward her CPA license, and is considering pursuing a master’s degree to further enhance her professional skills.
