Esha Agrawal is a Junior Analyst at CPI, where she works on applied economic research focused on climate and sustainable finance, and climate change adaptation.
Prior to joining CPI, she was a Research Assistant at the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER). Her work has covered national and subnational assessments of climate change impacts, adaptation costs, and industrial decarbonization.
She has conducted econometric analysis of climate-induced losses and developed Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) models to evaluate carbon pricing and mitigation strategies. Her research has contributed to NITI Aayog’s inter-ministerial deliberations on climate finance and supported India’s engagement under the UNFCCC.
Esha holds an M.Sc. in Economics from TERI School of Advanced Studies and a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Economics from Symbiosis School of Economics.
