Bilegsaikhan (Billie) Byambadorj is a sustainability and finance professional with a junior analyst role at Climate Policy Initiative (CPI), specializing in climate finance, climate risk, emissions, climate-related disclosure, and transition planning. At CPI, she works on the Net Zero Finance Tracker, contributing to research and methodology development to assess financial institutions’ climate commitments, disclosures, emissions, climate-related investments, and progress toward net zero.
Before joining CPI, Billie worked in sustainable finance in Mongolia, where she supported sustainability assessments and policy research, helped design green finance mechanisms, and engaged with financial institutions and regulators to strengthen the country’s sustainable finance framework. She began her career at Ernst & Young (EY), where she developed a strong foundation in financial analysis, data analytics, financial modelling, auditing, and assurance.
Billie holds an MSc in Sustainable Finance and Accounting from the University of Sussex, graduating with Distinction.
