Experts available to discuss investment figures, mitigation policy findings

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Working Group III report, “Mitigation of Climate Change,” was released Sunday, April 13 in Berlin, Germany. A portion of the report deals with current levels of global investment in climate mitigation and future investment needs, drawing from Climate Policy Initiative work.

Climate Policy Initiative experts Barbara Buchner, Senior Director, Jane Wilkinson, Director, Morgan Hervé-Mignucci, Managing Analyst, and others are available to put the IPCC figures in context by discussing current investment levels, future needs, and solutions.

Climate Policy Initiative’s Global Landscape of Climate Finance 2013 is the most comprehensive look at climate investment to-date. It finds that climate investment totaled USD $359 billion in 2012, falling slightly from the previous year.
