As a lead-in to the OECD’s 12th Forum on Green Finance and Investment (7–8 October 2025), Climate Policy Initiative, in partnership with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), will host a high-level roundtable in Paris on how financial institutions are assessing and tracking their progress toward climate transition and alignment.

This invite-only event will bring together 20–25 leading experts from government, financial market authorities, financial institutions, investor coalitions, standard setters, and data and research organizations. The discussion will explore which metrics provide decision-useful insights for financial institutions and policymakers, what emerging trends reveal about the credibility of transition assessments, and where critical gaps remain. Participants will also consider opportunities to improve data availability, comparability, and credibility, as well as implications for aggregate monitoring at the jurisdiction and country level.

Speakers:

  • Raphaël Jachnik, Team Lead, Finance for Climate Action, OECD Environment Directorate
  • Valerio Micale, Associate Director, Climate Policy Initiative

Date/Time: Monday 6 October 2025 | 14:00–17:00pm CEST
Location: OECD Headquarters, Paris
