Our impact and reach
In 2024, CPI expanded our climate finance tracking work, drove stronger leadership on guiding effective policy and investment, and supported more transformative paths than ever to achieve scale.
To extend our impact, CPI convenes stakeholders across the public and private sectors to advance policy and finance solutions. Our forums prioritize candid input, cross-sector collaboration, and the acceleration of practical, high-impact solutions. By connecting diverse leaders and breaking down silos, our network drives progress in international fora and at the national level.

Approach to systems-level change
As CPI has evolved to meet the challenges of the day, our core mission remains the same. We respond to country priorities and global demands for insights in a cohesive framework across our four work pillars—“Assess”, “Improve”, “Scale”, and “Bridge”.
We applied this framework across the following sectors and agendas in 2024:
- Climate finance tracking
- Climate finance effectiveness
- Climate finance innovation
- Adaptation and resilience
- Cities and infrastructure
- Conservation, AFOLU, and biodiversity
- Energy
- Just transition

We could not create this impact without our network of remarkable colleagues. Whether you are a funder, collaborator, member, implementation partner, researcher, employee, or just a fan, each person contributes in unique—but equally important—ways to our work, and our work would not be possible without this ecosystem-wide engagement.
