On February 12, Cities Climate Finance Leadership Alliance (Alliance) members will partake in a side event at WUF10 on the topic of ‘A Finance Alliance to project preparation: How to transform ideas into bankable projects.’ The session seeks to explore how stronger engagement between the supply and demand sides of climate finance investment can better facilitate project preparation for critical urban infrastructure projects.

This high-level panel session, moderated by CPI’s Priscilla Negreiros and organized by the Alliance Secretariat on behalf of its Project Preparation Action Group, and will feature participants from C40 Climate Finance Facility, ICLEI, GIZ, Meridiam, World Bank, and others.

Convened by UN-Habitat since 2001, the World Urban Forum is the foremost international gathering for exchanging views, ideas, and experiences on sustainable urban development. The tenth session will be held in Abu Dhabi from February 8-13th, 2020.
