Climate Policy Initiative, Indonesia and the Financial Service Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan or OJK) convened a workshop on Thursday, 19 December 2019, to discuss the preliminary findings from CPI Indonesia’s ongoing study on private climate finance tracking.

Through this workshop, CPI aimed to:

  • Receive feedback from different stakeholders to improve the flow of private climate finance in Indonesia: supporting regulation, the incentive for compliance, innovative instruments, etc.
  • Drive availability and transparency of private climate finance data in Indonesia
  • Provide an effective networking platform to exchange knowledge and best practices on mobilizing and tracking climate finance in Indonesia’s private sector.

The event was attended by 51 participants from 27 different institutions including regulators, financial institutions, corporations, donors, philanthropies, and NGOs. The event was hosted at OJK’s office located at Wisma Mulia, 17th floor, Jakarta.
