Bonn-Event-Card

The 62nd sessions of the UNFCCC Subsidiary Bodies (SB 62) will convene from 16 to 26 June 2025 at the World Conference Center Bonn in Germany. This mid-year climate conference brings together the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) and the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) to advance negotiations on key issues such as adaptation, mitigation, climate finance, and transparency. As a critical milestone between COP 29 in Baku and COP 30 in Belém, SB 62 will feature mandated events, technical workshops—including on gender action planning—and side events focused on just transition, agriculture, and climate resilience. The outcomes of SB 62 are expected to shape the agenda and inform decisions at COP 30 later in the year.

Climate Policy Initiative, I4CE, World Resources Institute, and DEval, will host the following side event:

Advancing the Baku to Belém Roadmap: Mobilizing High-Impact, Transformational Finance in EMDEs
