Bridging the Funding Gap in Climate Innovation

Wednesday, April 30; 1:30 – 2:20pm

The CIFAR Alliance will host a panel on April 30 focused on bridging the critical funding gap for early-stage climate innovation, particularly the $1–2 million in concessional capital needed to move from pilot to scale. This session will convene bold thinkers who are reshaping how capital flows to inclusive, gender-intentional climate solutions in emerging markets. Speakers include Nelly Ramírez Moncada (CIFAR Secretariat), Amanda Lonsdale (Investor & Ecosystem Builder), Michelle Lee (Climate Policy Initiative), Dan Block (Mercy Corps Ventures), and Christina (CJ) Juhasz (Women’s World Banking), with moderation by Amolo Ngweno (BFA Global).
