Maria Carolina Cassella is a Program Associate at CPI/PUC-Rio, where she supports project management for the Brazil office, contributing to event organization, the development of narrative reports and funding proposals, and engagement with strategic stakeholders. She also contributes to knowledge management and supports the monitoring of CPI’s impact in Brazil.
Maria Carolina holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) and completed a summer exchange program at the University of Oslo, in Norway. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Public Policy, Strategies, and Development at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
Previously, she worked as a Communications Assistant at CPI/PUC-Rio, contributing to institutional communications (including the standardization of acronyms and references in publications, translations, and support in the preparation of institutional presentations) as well as to press relations (assisting in the development of media mailing lists, press releases, and the identification of relevant climate-related storylines in national and international media outlets).
