From Billions to Trillions: Reducing Risks for Energy and Climate Finance will take place on February 25, 2026, at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business in Durham, North Carolina. The event will convene participants from public policy, academia, finance, industry, and research to examine risk factors that constrain energy and climate finance, including clean energy finance gaps, political and policy risks, and investment challenges in low- and middle-income countries, as well as the role of trade, competition, and industrial policy in clean energy deployment. The program will feature plenary discussions and interactive breakout sessions focused on research, policy, and practical approaches to reducing risk across the climate finance landscape.
