Michaela Nesson is a Program Associate at CPI, based in Washington, D.C. She supports the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance to develop and launch innovative financial vehicles that mobilize capital for climate action and sustainable development in emerging markets.

Before joining CPI, Michaela worked in international development project and grants management at Palladium, supporting USAID-funded project implementation in Latin America. Prior to that, she served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Peru. Michaela has experience with blended finance structures, impact investing, fund advisory, and investment facilitation for West African agribusinesses.

Michaela holds an MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and a BA from Harvard University.
