O CPI faz a gestão da Cities Climate Finance Leadership Alliance (a Aliança), a principal coalizão multinível e multilateral com o objetivo de diminuir o déficit de investimentos em projetos de infraestrutura urbanos e climáticos subnacionais em todo o mundo.
A Aliança fornece uma plataforma para agregar e trocar conhecimento entre todos os atores relevantes dedicados ao desenvolvimento urbano, ação climática e finanças.
Os mais de 55 membros da Aliança incluem instituições financeiras públicas e privadas, governos, organizações internacionais, ONGs, grupos de pesquisa e redes que representam a maioria das maiores cidades do mundo.
