Shruti Prakash is a Junior Analyst at Climate Policy Initiative (CPI) India in New Delhi, where she contributes to the Center for Sustainable Finance (CSF) program.
Before joining CPI, Shruti worked as a Research Associate at the National Economic Forum (NEF), where she examined sustainability and circular economy themes across sectors. A key assignment she led at NEF involved developing a comprehensive sustainability roadmap for one of India’s leading textile companies.
Prior to NEF, she was a research intern at the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW). At CEEW, she worked on revenue models for plastic waste, e-waste, and construction & demolition waste for the state of Odisha. She also contributed to GCAM model calibration and conducted research on the water–energy nexus, supporting systems-level analysis for long-term planning.
Shruti holds a master’s degree in economics from the Delhi School of Economics (DSE) and a bachelor’s degree in commerce (Honors).
