Renata Canini serves as Analyst in the Climate Finance agenda, focusing on Infrastructure. As part of the Climate Finance team at CPI Brazil, she researches the financial flows directed to climate adaptation and mitigation activities, especially in the transport and energy sectors, in addition to the environmental criteria considered in the implementation of large infrastructure projects. Previously, Renata worked in infrastructure consulting, conducting and developing sectoral studies and analysis of legislation projects, mainly related to the basic sanitation, energy, and transport sectors. She also worked as a volunteer in the design and evaluation of public policies to reduce inequalities and bring more women into politics. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), with a one-year academic exchange at the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris – Sciences Po.
