Suryanshu Hooda is a Senior Analyst at CPI, based in Delhi, working within the Green and Sustainable Finance Practice. With six years of experience across sustainable finance, entrepreneurship, and trading, his work has involved engagements with government bodies, research organizations, and international financial markets.

Previously at NITI Aayog, he worked on trade and international cooperation in the Economics and Finance vertical, coordinated the Aspirational Blocks Programme across Chhattisgarh and Haryana, and supported inter-ministerial engagements. His earlier career includes a role as a Financial Markets Analyst at OSTC Ltd., where he traded agricultural commodity, energy, and interest rate derivatives across NYMEX, CME, and ICE. He also founded a B2B sourcing venture for sustainably manufactured healthcare products, working with women-owned MSMEs to build inclusive supply chains.

Suryanshu holds a B.Com. (Hons.) from the University of Delhi and an M.S. in Finance and Investments from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. He has also completed the European Climate Resilient Health Systems Course offered by ASPHER and Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, as well as the Sustainable Investments in Agriculture Executive Training at Columbia University’s Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment.
