Sandy Fajrian is a Junior Analyst at CPI’s Jakarta office. His work focuses on climate finance tracking, just energy transition, as well as energy efficiency and renewable energy support mechanism in Indonesia. Previously, he was an intern for the Climate Finance program at CPI’s London office, where he supported the work on CPI’s flagship series including the Global Landscape of Climate Finance and the Global Landscape of Renewable Energy Finance, among others.

Prior to joining CPI, he worked with the ASEAN Centre for Energy where he managed various regional activities and conducted energy modelling analyses for the 6th ASEAN Energy Outlook report.

Sandy holds a master’s degree in Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment from University College London (UCL) and a bachelor’s degree in Geophysical Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB).
