Jayasree Beerappagari joins CPI in New Delhi as a Junior Analyst, where she is working with the Centre for Sustainable Finance program.
Prior to CPI, she interned with a sustainability consulting firm, contributing to a UNDP Nepal project on assessing the economic impacts of climate change and engaging in stakeholder consultations with leading financial institutions. Her master’s research focused on economic modeling of climate risks, using an Input-Output model to capture the direct and indirect impacts of climate-induced disasters and to explore the role of technological upgradation in climate risk mitigation.
Jayasree holds a master’s degree in economics with a specialization in Applied Quantitative Finance from the Madras School of Economics. She is passionate about contributing to drive sustainable economic growth while addressing the challenges posed by climate change.
