Muriel van de Bilt is a Senior Program Associate at CPI’s London Office, where she acts as the Partnerships Lead for the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance, working closely with the Lab’s membership to strengthen their effective engagement with the program, fostering the Lab’s alumni group and continuing to expand our network of strategic partners, and enhancing the visibility and impact of The Lab’s work.


Prior to her time at CPI, Muriel was an Engagement Manager at Pegasys, as a key member of the Climate Finance team, focused on improving sub-Saharan African countries’ climate resilience through policy and climate finance access, including the design of innovative sustainable finance mechanisms using Nature-based Solutions to improve access to quality water across the continent. Before Pegasys, Muriel was a Senior Consultant at the Ipsos Strategy3 team across the New York and London offices, building innovation and growth strategies for private sector players, with a particular focus on healthcare (Pharma and Consumer Healthcare).


Muriel holds a Master of Public Administration in International Development from the Harvard Kennedy School, a program focused on leveraging technical macroeconomic and microeconomic tools to solve some of the biggest challenges countries face to build more equitable societies. Muriel graduated from Georgetown’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, with an Honors degree in International Economics and an Honors Certificate in International Business Diplomacy.
