Jennifer Grosman Fernández is a Senior Program Associate for The Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance. Based out of the DC office, she leads program management for the Lab’s Market Incubation Phases and Portfolio Services and supports membership engagement and mainstreaming gender considerations into Lab activities.

Prior to joining CPI, she managed international development adaptation and mitigation projects at the United States Department of State Office of Global Change, including efforts to mobilize private investment into climate solutions in developing countries. She has also researched the gender-climate nexus and implemented policy to empower women and girls as climate leaders at the UNFCCC Secretariat, State Department, and the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security. Jennifer has additional experience facilitating public-private partnerships in climate policy, energy, and economic innovation among elected officials, regulatory agencies, and the private sector.

She holds a Master of Science in Foreign Service degree from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of Washington.
