Chandan Singh is a Consultant based in CPI’s Delhi office, specializing in methane abatement strategies, climate finance mechanisms, and GHG assessments across agriculture, waste management, and industrial sectors. His work focuses on conducting comprehensive SLCP emission analyses, designing innovative financing solutions, and translating complex climate science into actionable policy frameworks for short-lived climate pollutant reduction.
Before joining CPI, Chandan worked as Senior Program Manager at the Indian Society for Training and Development, leading methane and SLCP abatement research across Odisha’s districts. He has facilitated climate finance investments through public-private partnerships, published technical reports and policy briefs on GHG reduction influencing state-level environmental regulations, and established carbon credit mechanisms benefiting thousands of farmers. His earlier experience at Grameen Foundation and IL&FS strengthened his expertise in program management and community-based research.
Chandan holds an MBA in Rural Management from Amity Business School, New Delhi. His areas of interest include climate finance innovation, agricultural GHG emission reduction, and scalable SLCP abatement interventions, balancing environmental goals with rural livelihoods. In his free time, he enjoys reading.
