A produção de materiais industriais contribui com mais de um terço das emissões globais de gases de efeito estufa (GEE). Conciliar o crescimento da produção industrial com as ambições climáticas globais continua sendo um dos nossos maiores desafios.
O CPI aproveita sua expertise em diversos setores, atores e geografias para apoiar a descarbonização industrial, incluindo estudo para desenvolver um roteiro para o financiamento da descarbonização industrial e intervenções políticas que melhor possibilitem o desenvolvimento e a implementação de tecnologias de baixa emissão de carbono, necessárias para a descarbonização de longo prazo dos setores industriais que mais emitem.
