We are unique in our focus on finance, our ability to get the right people to the table, and our analytical rigor.\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Position Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Associate based in New Delhi, India, to support global finance operations. This role&nbsp;is responsible for&nbsp;managing end-to-end AP processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and corporate expense reviews. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with the AP and Operations teams to&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;strong financial controls and efficient processes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. Vendor &amp; Expense Management<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Review and\u00a0validate\u00a0vendor expenses for accuracy, compliance, and\u00a0appropriate documentation\u00a0and coding.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set up and prepare payments for vendor invoices across applicable payment,\u00a0databases, and banking. platforms.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure all required vendor documentation is complete and maintained.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Update and\u00a0maintain\u00a0the internal vendor tracker.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Employee Reimbursements &amp; Corporate Expenses<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Review employee reimbursement reports for policy compliance, proper submission, and receipt documentation.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review all corporate credit card transactions for accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to company policies, as well as monthly statement reconciliation.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. Accounts Payable Operations<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare and manage the AP aging cycle, ensuring\u00a0timely\u00a0follow-ups and resolution of outstanding items.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work closely with the AP and Operations teams to follow up on unpaid invoices and pending vendor information.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure all AP activities meet internal compliance standards and deadlines.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide support to the management of CPI\u2019s Vendor Payment and Expense integration system, resolving issues and seeking areas for improvement.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage payable-related emails and inquiries daily.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reconcile payable-related\u00a0general ledger accounts monthly.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4. Reporting, Audit &amp; Process Support<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist\u00a0with audit requests and prepare supporting documentation related to AP activities.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist\u00a0in\u00a0maintaining\u00a0and enhancing internal controls and policies.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support month-end close activities related to accounts payable.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proactively\u00a0identify\u00a0issues and implement process improvements to streamline the accounts payable cycle.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to\u00a0an accurate\u00a0and\u00a0timely\u00a0monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare ad-hoc reports, analysis, and\u00a0complete other\u00a0projects\u00a0as\u00a0assigned.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Post-Graduate degree in Finance or Accounts, and at least 2 years post-qualification experience, especially with accounts payable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience working in a multi-site organization is preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience working with multiple currencies is preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comfort in the use of MS Excel; experience with Sage Intacct, and Databasics is a plus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong and effective communication skills to communicate directly with vendors and all levels of management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong organizational skills, solution-oriented, and able to keep up a fast pace while adapting to frequent change.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in non-profit financial accounting and fund accounting strongly preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Competencies &amp; Personal Attributes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ability to confidently work autonomously and coordinate with colleagues effectively.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, and prioritization skills, ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to work with flexible hours to span time zones.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flexibility, professionalism, enthusiasm for working as part of a team, and an ability to interact with a diverse array of people based\u00a0in\u00a0various geographies.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluency in English required (written and verbal).\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deep commitment\u00a0to\u00a0the mission and values of CPI.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Location and compensation&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CPI is hiring for one permanent, full-time accounts payable associate position based in Delhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CPI offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
