This event was held as a follow-up to CPI Indonesia’s 2015 studies on ‘Improving Land Productivity through Fiscal Policy’ and ‘How oil palm industry contribution to central government income gets \u00a0collected and distributed to the region’.<\/p>\n

This workshop aims to:<\/p>\n

1. Increase understanding of regional government\u2019s needs to optimize fiscal policy in order to support sustainable and inclusive land use;<\/p>\n

2. Discuss the format of studies to improve access to fiscal policy and regional finance;<\/p>\n

3. Identify other inputs from stakeholders; and<\/p>\n

4. Initiate working group and forum focused on improvement of fiscal policy in sustainable land use area in Berau.<\/p>\n

The workshop was attended by local and provincial government officials, fiscal and\/or finance-related stakeholders, academicians, and civil society.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
