A large part of existing liquidity in global financial markets could and should be made available to support the green transition. In this context, guarantees are an important, yet underused tool for mobilizing private capital for green investments. The landscape of guarantee instruments and involved actors is fragmented and their role in financing the green transition is still marginal. This is where the Green Guarantee Group (GGG) comes in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The GGG seeks to address existing gaps in current climate investment flows by focusing on the potential of guarantees. The Group aims to create a more comprehensive understanding of the existing types of mechanisms and how to better leverage them.
