CFMCA is a global initiative led by the Ministers of Finance (MoFs) of 90 member countries and the regional convening is centered on for climate action strategies for MoFs in Sub-Saharan Africa. The event will focus on the following thematic areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Nationally Determined Contributions <\/strong>(NDCs): Discussing the role of finance ministries in developing and financing robust NDCs by 2025.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Adaptation<\/strong>: Sharing strategies for enhancing climate resilience and adaptation, focusing on economic stability and growth.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Establishing Climate Units<\/strong>: Insights into creating dedicated climate units within Finance Ministries to coordinate and implement climate policies<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>AGENDA<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The panel will convene on the theme \u201cFinancing climate resilience and a socially just transition\u201d and include speakers from AfDB, SOAS, and UNECA.
