The U.S. experience with nodal pricing offers options for tackling these emerging challenges and facilitates the further integration of intermittent renewable generation technologies.<\/p>\n<p>At a one day roundtable hosted by CPI Berlin, European transmission system operators (TSOs) and international experts explored the technical aspects of implementing and operating a power market design based on nodal pricing and discussed comparisons with current and envisaged approaches in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Several challenges and opportunities emerged from the discussions.
