Reenu Jomy Kandathil is a Junior Analyst at Climate Policy Initiative (CPI) India, where she works with the Green and Sustainable Finance team. She is passionate about advancing finance as a catalyst for climate resilience and believes that integrating climate and sustainability considerations into decision-making is not a trade-off with profitability, but a pathway to enhancing long-term value and shared prosperity.

Through her internships across the public and private sectors, Reenu has gained diverse experience in climate and sustainability. She worked with GIZ India on the Climate Adaptation and Finance in Rural India (CAFRI II) project with MoEFCC and NABARD, with a sustainability consulting firm on corporate sustainability and ESG practices, and with a private equity firm on climate investments.

She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Central University of Pondicherry and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi.
