Rafael Araujo is a Senior Analyst at CPI Brazil, focusing on the Infrastructure agenda. His main research interests are Empirical Industrial Organization and Environmental Economics. He has been conducting research on the impact of infrastructure on deforestation, the impact of deforestation on rainfall, and optimal policies to counter deforestation. Rafael is a PhD candidate in economics, he holds a master’s degree from EPGE FGV and a bachelor’s degree from FEA USP.
