Julia serves as Legal Analyst focusing on Climate Law and Governance at CPI Brazil. The research areas she addresses are: land use, Forest Code, biodiversity conservation, property rights and environmental governance. Previously, she interned at the Attorney General of the State of Rio de Janeiro (PGE-RJ) at the Office of the Public General Prosecutor in environmental and patrimony matters. Julia has a Bachelor degree in Law by IBMEC RJ and is currently attending a postgraduate course in Brazilian Environmental Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio).
