Ícaro Melo is a climate finance Analyst and researches on financial flows related to investments in infrastructure projects. He also carries out surveys related to rural credit with a focus on the Northern Region of Brazil and the state of Pará. Previously, he worked with macroeconomic analysis at Fundação Ceperj, producing the Boletim de Conjuntura Econômica Fluminense. At the foundation, he also contributed to the construction of state public policies in the economic and social areas. In addition, he worked with the evaluation of public policies in the area of incubation of solidarity economy cooperatives with the Ministry of Labor and the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Fluminense Federal University and a master’s degree in Public Policy/Technology for Social Development from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
