Fezekisa Makeleni serves as the Executive Assistant to the Global Managing Director at the Climate Policy Initiative (CPI). In this role, she is responsible for effective coordination by providing high-level strategic and operational support to the GMD.

Fezekisa brings extensive experience in international development and institutional governance, having previously served with the African Union Commission and the United Nations Global Compact. Her professional background includes executive coordination, organizational management, and stakeholder engagement in multilateral environments across Africa. Passionate about effective governance and equitable development, Fezekisa is committed to advancing systems that enable impactful policy outcomes. 

She holds a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature and a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and Communication.
